How do I check what permits my business needs?

Go to the free permit checker, select your business type and city, and you'll get a full checklist with costs, deadlines, and .gov links. No signup required.

Is the permit checker really free?

Yes. The checklist is 100% free, no signup, no credit card. You only pay if you want to track deadlines and get email reminders.

What does the Starter plan include?

A dashboard to save your permits, track their status (applied, active, expiring), a compliance packet, document vault, and email reminders at 90, 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before anything expires. $12/month or $99/year.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Email us within 60 days for a full refund, no questions asked. After that, you can cancel anytime and your plan runs until the end of the billing period.

Which states and business types do you cover?

We cover all 50 states plus DC and 8 business types (bars, restaurants, breweries, wineries, food trucks, salons, contractors, retail stores). We're adding more regularly.

How accurate is your permit data?

Every permit in our database links to the actual .gov source. We pull data from ABC boards, health departments, fire marshals, and city licensing offices. Each entry has a confidence score and a last-verified date so you can see how fresh the data is.

I found an error in the permit data. How do I report it?

Email us at [email protected] with the permit name, city, and what's wrong. We'll fix it within 48 hours.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings in your dashboard and click "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data.
